Western riding is an style of horse back riding there Human and horse cooperate in a relaxed way.

The ride style has comes from wild west in the US during 1700-1800's.

In western riding you are conscious that the horse is a flight animal and that the human is an enemy.

In western riding there are many different activities where horse and human cooperate.

The riding style came from Spain in the 14^th century.

expression comes from US but the riding technique and the equipment comes from Spain. When the Spanish people came and conquered north America in the 15^th century they took the horse's an the riding style with them. The technique came to Us in the 17^th century from Mexico.
